Frost RGB is a white gaming desk for someone who wants the hardware to match the room. Everything on the IKEA MITTZON is white: the ASUS ROG Strix monitor, the NZXT Player Three with its white fans and cooler, the SteelSeries headset, the Logitech keyboard and mouse. The pink and blue glow comes from the wall lighting and the RGB inside the parts.

It is not only for show. The Player Three runs a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and an RTX 5080, more than enough for a 1440p 180 Hz monitor, and the Arctis Nova Pro Omni can mix the PC and a console in the same headset. The light bar gives proper white light on the keyboard when the RGB is turned down for work.

The monitor and the tower are sold in the US only. In France, the white Dell 27 Plus S2725QC is the screen to take, and most white setups keep a black tower such as the HP OMEN 35L on the floor, out of the frame. On a smaller budget, the savings are in the tower and the headset, which carry most of the cost; the chair and the desk already sit at the affordable end. With more to spend, the MITTZON frame takes larger tops.

Every part, and why it is here

Prices are the best offer we track in your market today.

  1. Monitor

    ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACG-W

    ASUS

    Why we picked it

A white 27-inch 1440p Fast IPS gaming monitor at 180 Hz, with a height-adjustable stand and a USB-C video input for a laptop or a handheld. Connect the PC over DisplayPort, since HDMI stops at 144 Hz. Sold in the US only, through a marketplace seller on Newegg.

  2. Light

    BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2

    BenQ

    Why we picked it

On a desk lit mostly by RGB, the light bar gives real white light on the keyboard, tunable from 2700 to 6500 K, without a lamp taking space. Its grey finish is the one non-white part here, and it sits out of the way on top of the monitor.

  3. Gaming PC

    NZXT Player Three (White)

    NZXT

    Why we picked it

White case, white cooler, white fans: it is the white gaming tower that fits this desk. A Ryzen 7 9800X3D and an RTX 5080 with 32 GB and 4 TB go well beyond what a 1440p screen needs, which leaves room for a 4K monitor later. It is a wide case and it is sold in the US only.

  4. Headset

    SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni

    SteelSeries

    Why we picked it

A white headset that mixes up to four audio sources, so the PC and a console can play through it at once. Two hot-swappable batteries mean one is always charging while you play.

    Logitech

    Why we picked it

A white 75% board with hot-swap switches, PBT keycaps and 8 kHz polling, and its RGB is the main light on the mat. In France, the white AZERTY version only comes with tactile switches.

  6. Mouse

    Logitech G309 LIGHTSPEED

    Logitech

    Why we picked it

A white wireless mouse that runs 300+ hours on one AA battery, over LIGHTSPEED or Bluetooth. It has no RGB, which leaves the colour to the keyboard and the tower.

  7. Desk

    IKEA MITTZON Desk Sit/Stand (120 x 80 cm)

    IKEA

    Why we picked it

A white sit/stand desk with two motors, a cable tray and a storage module built in, so the cables stay off the white floor. The 80 cm depth keeps the monitor at a good distance; watch the 80 kg load limit with a big tower on top.

    Why we picked it

The light gray fabric suits the pastel room better than black leather, and the built-in lumbar arch has nothing to slip out of place. The armrests are basic 2D.
