About the ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQ5A

The TUF Gaming VG27AQ5A is the cheapest way we know to move from 1080p to a sharp 27-inch 1440p screen. Its Fast IPS panel runs at 2560 x 1440 up to 210 Hz with a 1 ms (GtG) response time, Adaptive-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium, and ASUS rates it at 130% sRGB with HDR10 support.

The savings show in the details: the stand only tilts, the HDMI ports are 2.0 (1440p consoles are fine, but no 4K 120 Hz input), and the USB-C port is for service only, not video. Brightness is a modest 300 nits typical. With 100 x 100 mm VESA holes, a monitor arm fixes the stand problem.

Why it is here

A 27-inch 1440p Fast IPS panel that reaches 210 Hz with FreeSync Premium, a high spec for a budget monitor; use DisplayPort for the full refresh rate. Its stand only tilts, and the IKEA desk is not made for an arm, so it stays on its stand. Sold in France.
