About the Sihoo Doro C300 Ergonomic Chair

The Doro C300 is Sihoo's mid-range all-mesh chair. Back and seat are both mesh, the lumbar pad follows your spine on its own as you lean forward or back, and the recline mechanism senses your weight to set its resistance, so there is no tension knob to fiddle with. The headrest is wide and adjusts in several directions, and the 4D armrests move with the backrest when you recline.

Sihoo lists a 330 lb load in the US and 136 kg in France, a seat depth of 18.1 in (46 cm) and a 3-year warranty. It is certified to BIFMA, SGS and TÜV standards. The automatic systems are the point of this chair, but they are also its limit: if the lumbar pad does not suit your back, you cannot make it firmer or move it much.

Seen in these setups

Where it sits in real desks, and why it earned its place there.

Bright home office by a large window with a lake view: a FlexiSpot standing desk with a light wood top, a Dell monitor on a silver arm with a webcam on top, a laptop on a silver stand, a keyboard and mouse on a grey mat, headphones on a stand, a dark gray architect lamp, a mesh tray under the desk, a black mesh chair with a headrest and a grey standing mat on the floor

Standing Ops

Sihoo Doro C300 Ergonomic Chair in Standing Ops

Why it is here

For the sitting hours: lumbar support that adjusts itself as you move, 4D armrests and a headrest for leaning back on calls. It has a large footprint, so leave room behind the desk.

Estimated total$1,84511 of 12 parts sold hereView setup
Small black desk in a bedroom corner at night, between a bed and a door: an AOC monitor on a black gas spring arm, a pegboard above with a shelf, a controller and a green under-light, a compact ASUS ROG NUC standing on the desk, a Razer keyboard with RGB backlight and a black mouse on a mat, a HyperX headset hanging under the desk, a black mesh chair with a headrest and a city view through the window

Compact Corner

Sihoo Doro C300 Ergonomic Chair in Compact Corner

Why it is here

Self-adjusting lumbar support, 4D armrests and a headrest for long sessions. Its 71 x 71 cm footprint is large for a corner, so check the room to roll back; the IKEA MARKUS is the narrower option.
