About the Dell 24 Plus Monitor S2425HSM
The Dell 24 Plus S2425HSM is one of the cheapest monitors we list, and it still gets the basics right for a home office or a student desk. Its 23.8-inch IPS panel shows 1920 x 1080 at up to 144 Hz with AMD FreeSync, covers 99% of sRGB at 300 nits and is certified flicker-free, so long days of documents and video calls stay comfortable. The Ash White finish and slim bezels suit a light desk.
The stand is the surprise at this price: it adjusts in height, tilt, swivel and pivot, so you can set the top of the screen at eye level without stacking books. Connections are basic: two HDMI 1.4 ports, no DisplayPort, no USB-C and no USB hub, and the small speakers are only good for calls. At 24 inches, 1080p still looks sharp enough for office work.
