About the BenQ GW2790C

The GW2790C is BenQ's budget 27-inch for a home office: a matte IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 and up to 144 Hz with FreeSync, 99% sRGB at 300 nits, and the eye-care features BenQ is known for (flicker-free backlight, low blue light, an ePaper reading mode). It has all three common inputs: HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 and a USB-C port that carries video from a laptop with one cable.

Two things to know before buying. That USB-C port does not charge your laptop, so its power brick stays on the desk. And at 27 inches, 1080p is visibly softer than 1440p for text, which matters if you read spreadsheets all day. The stand only tilts; the 100 x 100 mm VESA holes let you move it to an arm.
