The EVO 4 is the small black interface next to the stream controller in our broadcast booth. It has two mic preamps, a JFET instrument input, stereo monitor outputs and a headphone output, all bus powered over USB-C.
Smartgain listens to your voice and sets the input level for you, which is useful with low-output dynamic mics. Loopback lets you send computer audio into your stream mix, and it records at up to 24-bit, 96 kHz.
Where it sits in real desks, and why it earned its place there.
