The Base Station V2 Chroma gives your headset a proper place on the desk and adds a few useful ports while it is at it. The aluminum stand is 278 mm tall, enough for large over-ear headsets, and the 120 mm round base has an anti-slip bottom and a Razer Chroma RGB ring that syncs with other Razer gear.
The base doubles as a small hub with two USB 3.1 ports and a 3.5 mm combo jack with a built-in DAC and 7.1 surround sound, handy when the PC's own ports are under the desk. It connects with a 1.8 m cable.
Where it sits in real desks, and why it earned its place there.
