The Facecam Neo is Elgato's simple webcam for calls and first streams. It films in 1080p at 60 fps through an f/2.0 autofocus lens and a 1/2.9 inch sensor, with a 77 degree field of view that frames you without showing the whole room. It is a standard UVC camera, so it works in Zoom, Teams, OBS and Discord on Windows, macOS or iPad without drivers, and it is Zoom certified.
The free Camera Hub app adds exposure, colour, low light mode and noise reduction if you want to fine-tune the image. It weighs 80 g, clips on a monitor with the included mount (which also has a 1/4 inch thread for a tripod), and connects with a fixed 1.4 m braided USB-C cable. A USB-A adapter is not included.
Where it sits in real desks, and why it earned its place there.
