The Yeti Orb is the entry ticket to the Yeti range: a round condenser mic on a little tripod, plugged in with one USB-C cable and working straight away on Windows and Mac. The cardioid capsule records at 24-bit/48 kHz with a 70 Hz to 20 kHz response, clearly better than a headset or laptop mic for Discord, calls and first streams. G HUB adds Blue VO!CE filters and controls the RGB ring.
It weighs 230 g and stands 196 mm tall, so it fits on a crowded desk, and the stand comes off to put it on any 1/4 inch thread. Being a condenser, it also picks up keyboard clicks and room echo more than a dynamic mic like the Yeti GX, so keep it close and to the side of your keyboard.
Where it sits in real desks, and why it earned its place there.
