Nanoleaf Lines are 28 cm bars that light the wall behind them rather than shining into the room, which gives a soft glow and makes the shape itself part of the setup. Each bar has two color zones, and the white light tunes from 1200 K to 6500 K. This starter kit has nine 60° Lines, the connectors, mounting tape and a power supply that can run up to 18 Lines.
The Lines connect over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (Bluetooth is used for setup) and work with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings. A built-in mic drives the music visualizer, the Nanoleaf Desktop App mirrors your screen colors, and Razer Chroma, Corsair iCUE and Overwolf integrations react to games. They are an ambiance light: each Line gives about 20 lumens, not enough to light a desk.
Cheaper, better or just different: the products we would weigh against this one.
