About the Dyson Solarcycle Morph Desk Light (Black/Black)

The Solarcycle Morph is a premium task light built around one LED head on an articulated arm. It puts out 850 lumens at 11.2 W with a CRI of 90 or more, and the white light runs from 2700 K to 6500 K. The MyDyson app (over Bluetooth) uses your location and the time of day to shift brightness and color temperature through the day, and adds Study, Relax, a 20-minute Boost mode, a sunrise wake-up and up to 20 custom modes. Touch controls handle dimming and color temperature without the phone, and motion sensors turn the light on when you sit down and off after five minutes without movement.

Dock the head into the stem and the lamp turns into a warm ambient glow (1800 to 3400 K), and a USB-C port in the base charges a phone. Dyson rates the LEDs for 60 years at 8 hours a day. It is heavy (3.5 kg), very expensive, and the US Dyson store lists it out of stock today.
