About the Elgato Wave:3 MK.2
The Wave:3 MK.2 is Elgato's updated streaming mic. A cardioid condenser capsule behind an internal pop filter records at 24-bit/48 kHz, and Clipguard 2.0 stops distortion when you shout. The new onboard DSP applies effects inside the mic, Auto Gain sets your level, and the multifunction dial controls gain, Voice Tune, headphone volume and the monitor mix, and a tap on the top mutes the mic.
The free Wave Link app handles up to five mixes, routes apps in one click and runs VST effects. It plugs in over USB-C to a computer, tablet or phone, ships with a desk stand and a 2.5 m cable, and weighs 250 g without the stand. A boom arm or shock mount is sold separately.
