The second generation QuietComfort Ultra is the beige pair hanging in our warm wood setup. Bose's ActiveSense noise cancellation adjusts to the noise around you, and the Driftwood Sand finish matches leather, oak and linen.
Beyond Bluetooth 5.4, it plays lossless audio over USB-C from a computer or phone, and wired through 3.5 mm. Bose rates the battery at 30 hours, and 15 minutes of charging gives about 3 hours. It weighs about 264 g.
Where it sits in real desks, and why it earned its place there.
Why it is here
Strong noise cancelling for focused work, in Driftwood Sand, a colour that suits a wood setup. USB-C lossless and 3.5 mm wired audio keep it playing from the computer when the battery runs low.
