About the IKEA FREDDE Gaming Desk
FREDDE is built like a small gaming station. The main top is 55 1/8 in (140 cm) wide and a side extension takes it to 72 7/8 in (185 cm), with a monitor shelf above, small shelves you hang inside or outside the side panels, and a lower shelf for the PC tower. The high side panels block sunlight and glare on the screen, and the top has cut-out cup holders on both sides.
IKEA sizes it for two 24 in monitors, or a 32 in monitor or TV if you remove the shelf above the top. That shelf is also the main limit: ultrawide or stacked monitors and monitor arms do not fit well under the hutch. The height is fixed, and the frame is powder-coated steel with melamine-finished particleboard.
