The Stream Deck MK.2 is the 15-key controller glowing blue on our broadcast desk. Each key is a small LCD screen you can label with an icon, and a press can switch scenes, mute a mic, launch an app or run a multi-step macro.
The free Stream Deck software has plugins for OBS, Twitch, Discord, music apps and many productivity tools, so it is just as handy for work as for streaming. It weighs 145 g without its stand, and the faceplate can be swapped.
Where it sits in real desks, and why it earned its place there.
Why it is here
15 LCD keys for scenes, mute, the Key Light and markers, so you never alt-tab out of a game while live. The same keys run work shortcuts off stream.
Cheaper, better or just different: the products we would weigh against this one.
