About the Elgato Game Capture 4K S
The 4K S sits between a console and your TV or monitor. It captures up to 4K at 60 fps, 1440p at 144 fps or 1080p at 240 fps, while passing the picture through at up to 4K60 with HDR10 and VRR, so you play with no added lag. HDR can be captured at 1080p on Windows. With latency as low as 30 ms on capable setups, you can even play through the preview window.
It is a UVC device over USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, so it works with OBS, Discord, TikTok Live Studio and Elgato Studio on Windows, Mac and iPad without drivers. A 3.5 mm line-in takes party chat through Chat Link Pro. USB-C and HDMI 2.0 cables are in the box.
